CV joint or Wheel bearings?

I have a 01 Aurora and it is making a grinding noise only when I turn left. It makes no other noises while driving or when turning right. I just had my brakes fixed by midas and this started happening the day I picked it up. Thinking that it had something to do with that I took it back for them to check out. Well they called me today saying that my wheel bearing is bad. I started looking on the internet and it sounded more like my CV joint to me. What does it more likely sound like to you? (I picked up my car from them so I could get a second opinion.)

A C/V joint will create more of a poping noise and a wheel bearing will be a growling noise. I would take a look at the brake rotors aswell. If they didn't get a nice finish on them when the resurfaced them it could cause you to have some noise.
