1996 Other Oldsmobile Models Changing the heater core

Im not so sure on how to change the heater core in my 96 olds achieva, I got no heat and need it. I would like to know what I would all need to do and how?

This isn't a fun job. It comes off from the underside of the dash.

While yours won't be this extreme, this was a pick up truck we did a few weeks ago.

One thing you can try first is to disconnect the heater hoses to the core and run water through it with garden hose pressure. back and forth through the two hoses to hopfully back flush it out and allow circulation.
