1996 Other Oldsmobile Models Car won't start after stopping,

After I drive my car may for an hour two hours and if I stop and try to start the car it won't start. If I wait for an hour or so it will start or it also starts if I get a jump start. Please let me know if it's my battery or alternator or something else. I appreciate your help.
