My car is making like a knockin noise, it sounds like its coming from the engine. Can u give me a suggestion?

Without actually hearing it, a knock from the lower half of the engine is usually a bad connecting rod bearing, and crank jounal, or a bad wrist pin at the top end of the piston and rod.
