2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue Turn Signal

When using left or right turn signal, the car shuts off.

Need to inspect the wiring from the column harness to the multi function switch. If using the turn signals either way shuts the car off, there must be some wire chaffing or something like that.

This is a first for me. Can't say I've heard that one before.
