well i have this oldsmobile given to me by a sibling i recently started having trouble with it. it seems like after driving it for moderate distances or maybe a moderate amount of time the car will die on me at a red light, when slowing down to turn, stop sign etc.. i then put the car in park and turn it right on again only the car will only stay on if i keep giving it gas. so what i have to do is keep giving it gas at the same time put it in gear and speed off. the car will then do the same thing each time i stop while still in drive. what i noticed is the car will stop doing this if i give it a break or jus not drive it for a day or so, but then will do it again in the middle of the week if its been driven enough.. so i have a manual for the vehicle and the manual says it could be the carberator all together other sources say it is the ISC motor? well it would be nice if you guys could help me the car is in great condition and haqsnt been driven alot until me so id like to keep it around for awhile longer. any help is appreciated thank you

Hello Thanks for the donation A list of possible causes and corrections are below...I would suspect a distributor problem or vacuum issue with these symptoms..
