Shakes or Wobbles problem
1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have an oldsmobile cutlas ceirra. Ive had it for a year now with no problem. Recently I was driving about 40mph, speed up to 50 to pass someone, it sputter acted like it was going to die or wasnt getting enough gas. I pulled over. I started driving it did the same thing when I reached 20mph, but I kept going, was fine rest of the day. I took it to a mechanic who plugged it up saying the cam shaft signal came up and that would be whats causeing it to run badly said he would charge $150 to fix. I have avoided driving it till today when I tried pulling out of my driveway it wouldnt go past 10mph without constant sputtering and even in park just running I reved engine and it sputtered and acted like it was going to die. Ive asked around and heard that it could be spark plugs, fuel filter, or fuel pump. Any sugestions?

It could be if they are really bad, but it wouldn't have happened all at once.
