When the problem occurs, use a gage and check fuel pressure. You may also need to check actual voltage and ground at the fuel pump connector. Engine cranking, the pump gets battery voltage. Engine running, the pump gets alternator voltage, there is a difference. Any applicable mil codes. Battery has a full charge and all connections coming and going are clean and tight?
