I have a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera with the 2.5. It will start then idle for a second and shut off. I've checked all the usual stuff spark plugs and wires replaced fuel pump and filter checked fuel lines checked fuses and relays checked all grounds and wire connections. The check engine light does not come on and if there are codes I have no way of reading them. It started when I went and got fuel left the gas station parked the car and shut it off since then it has not started.

You sure its not bad fuel? If not check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure tester designed for your system if its within specs-

You got fuel and spark-lets clean out the idle air control valve and EGR valve and test the throttle position sensor and see if it keeps it running
