1994 Oldsmobile Ciera Trouble Codes
Computer problem
1994 Oldsmobile Ciera 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 128000 miles
Is there any way at all to pull the codes out of a 94 Olds Cutlass Ciera without buying a $100.00 scan tool? Terminal B in the diagnostic connector is not there so I can't just short it to flash the codes. Is there another terminal somewhere else (under the hood or somewhere else under the dash or anywhere else) that can be shorted to flash the codes? Can I turn the ignition key in a certain series of on and off in order to flash the codes?

You need a scanner. However, most nationally recognized parts stores will scan the computer for free. That way there will be no money out of pocket.
