My 1994 Olds Cutlass Ciera S v6 3.1 engine. The check engine light comes on and stays on. When I get to red lights and stop signs the car cuts off. Can you tell what might be the problem?

Hi, When That Check Engine Light comes On, It's Telling you Something. This Means You need To Have the computer Checked for Codes. There are Various Sensors The computer looks at, If one Goes bad , or acts Up It turns on That Light. Take the car To Your mechanic And have him Check It Out.
