How come my car turns off when I come to a full stop - its starts right back up but next red light oir stop the car turns off - and does start riight back up?

Hi:
It could be a few things, a vacuum leak, sensor... To me, without seeing it, it sounds like a vacuum leak or a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). What I recommend to you is to have the computer scanned by a nationally recognized parts store to determine if there is a trouble code storred. If there is, it will point us in the right direction. Keep in mind, most stores will do it for free, and it will be helpful.

Also, you could check to see if there is a vacuum leak. Place you ear in different areas around the engine. With it running, see if you can hear any hissing.
