1988 Oldsmobile Ciera does'nt shift After warm up

after i drive this car 10 miles or so the car quits shift. i punch the gas and nothing happens, changed fluid and filter, still no change. fluid was bubble gum pink when drained. what can cause this to only quit shifting after it is warmed up?
