1994 Oldsmobile Bravada Engine Oil Dip Stick Tube

I have a crack in my engine oil dip stick tube and I need to r&r it. But I do not know how to do it. I have never had to do this before and I need help.

I believe the whole tube screws in and out of the motor block very carefully. At least thats the way it was on my chevy corsica I had. You just have to be careful not to bend the tube while trying to unscrew it as a seal of caked up oil will be created from over time. Be sure to look for a screw/bracket that may be used towards the bottom of your tube. That is a mounting bracket for the tube. Its actually a very simple task. Most effort used for this task is "Common Sense". Difficult level on a scale of 1 - 10, it's a 3.
