2001 Oldsmobile Aurora won't start
Electrical problem
2001 Oldsmobile Aurora 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 102000 miles
When I turn the key all the gauges come on as well as the radio,but it dosen't turn the starter over.The security symbol does go out as well.

If the security light goes out, then the security system is working. What I need you to check is this. Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire on the starter. You should be getting 12+ volts. Let me know what you find.

Sorry it took so long to reply,but I would get 11.7 volts consistently.
