1995 Oldsmobile Aurora Starter or Alternator?

96 olds aurora. Won't start but just click clicks. Stereo n everything else is on. Lights n all. Tried jumpin it but thats not it? So whats the verdict? By the way, awhile back, whenever I start it, it would take a few seconds to catch, when you turn the key to start, kind of figure this day was coming. Thanks for any input. Eli

Have starter tested. You can jumper the starter solenoid with screwdriver to see if it engages. If it does then check out the starter relay. If it doesn't then suspect faulty starter
