Checking transmission fluid

2001 Oldsmobile Alero 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 61000 miles
Usually on a vehicle I can find the dipstick to check the level of my transmission fluid but I have never checked it since I bought my vehicle and I can't find it. I don't have an owner's manual.

Not all GM's have a dipstick anymore, you need to put it on a lift, remove the red plug, and fill until the fluid starts to drip out, replug...
