Engine Performance problem
2001 Oldsmobile Alero 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 145k miles

New plugs, wires, swaped coils. substututed known good module, fuel filter, compression and fuel presure good, injectors ohm the same, with out A/C on car runs flawless, w/AC on at idle scanner reads missfire on #4 cycl turn off AC missfire gone, no codes set

Hi there, do this check, clear the code and trigger the A/C comp with a hot wire from the battery to the clutch wire, see if that triggers the code again.

Mark, this car is not setting codes, SES light off, intermitant miiss at idle on #4 cycl with AC on and trans in drive foot on brake, by applying power to comp. without fans on could cause undue high pressures, poss. body control code set because no AC request from climate control.
