Starter motor sounds like its spinning but not engaging the motor.

Hello, is the starter loose? Can you tell if the starter is kicking out the pinion gear, key in the crank position? There is probably a dust cover for the flex-plate, underneath, I'm not sure if you can see the pinion gear from there?
