2000 Oldsmobile Alero Repair Question

2000 Oldsmobile Alero service engine soon and trac off ligh
my service engine soon and trac lights have recently came on. trac light stays on while the service engine soon sometimes will flash. when pushing the gas, it takes a second or two to want to get going and while idle has a loud clug sound. what could the problem be?

Get the computer scanned for OBD2 code/s and comeback with it-this is where we start the diagnosis without it there's no starting point to locate the problem.
