The radiator fan and fan relays are ok. The water pump was leaking, I changed the Water Pump, coolant temp sensor and thermostat but the engine is still running hot. I was told that on these engines V6 3.4 liter that the cooling system has to bleed, how do I do this. Do I let the engine run and after pressure builds open the bleeding nut. How long will it take for the air to be bleed from the system.

This is a really good question. I am having the same problems with my 2000 Alero. The other thing that we fiqured out with mine is that the fans are not coming on at all. Hopefully someone can help us with this one. To be honest I am about to put my alero in the junk pile.
