Are you losing coolant?

This motor was common for intake gaskets leaking.
They may leak internal or external.

Sounds like it could be the convertor or stuck thermostat.Does the exhaust smell kike rotten eggs???If so your convertor is partially plugged ... after the car runs for 30 min take a look uner the car at the converter. don't touch it will be very hot if it is glowing red then there is your answer. Get it replaced ASAP.. Fire Hazard...Let me know
