My fuel gauge will not register the correct amount of fuel in tank. It will go to full when started but as you drive the low fuel light will come on and the gauge will stop working. Also when refueling the gas pump won't shut off when full ? I figure the vent on the filler neck is causing the problem on the fill up, but wonder if both problem are related, some one told me it could be a PIN failure ?

not sure what a PIN is, could be a sender issue wth the gauge, the filling problem, is most likely the vent as you said.Unfortunately it looks like the fuel sender signal goes through the PCM, not just straight to the gauge.Need to measure the resistance to ground in the purple wire on the tank unit when ading fuel to see if the sender is working
