1997 Oldsmobile Achieva No Start
Electrical problem
1997 Oldsmobile Achieva 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 147000 miles
The starter is good and supposedly the ignition was checked. i have a new battery but the car will not start. I got the car at the auction so I have no idea what the history is.

Hi, thanks for the donation. Have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. An overall tune-up, might help.
Some of the national brand autostoes used to loan out a fuel pressure gage. I'm not sure how to help unless you can do some testing. To check for spark at the plugs, you can pull plug boot, stick known good plug in the boot, ground metal part of plug to metal part of engine, watch for spark. Go from there.
