1997 Oldsmobile Achieva car wont start

My oldsmobeil achieva was stalling every once in a while. Then all of a sudden I went to start it up and it kept dieing. It would turn over but then just die out all the lights came on when I tried to start itfor a second till it stalled back out.I tried several times to start it and its not wanting to stay running

How long since a tune-up? Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand auto stores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage. Can you check for applicable trouble codes, at the least you need an obd 2 code reader.
