If I can get it started, it idles extremely rough and will only remain running if I'm peddling it. Changed coil and coil module to no avail. it does appear to be getting spark and fuel. Any ideas?

No luck when cleaning out those parts. Thought about potentially the timing chain but see spring movement in heads when turning over the motor. What about the crankshaft position sensor? Would that cause it not to start? Do you have to remove the vibration damper to get to the crank position sensor?
