OBD reader won't link up with ECM/ECU

I get an error message on the OBD reader that says it can't connect.

ON MY SISTER'S CHEVY TAHOE, MINE WOULD NOT CONNECT

I DECIDED TO SMOKE A MENTHOL, COULD NOT FIND MY LIGHTER, I FOUND HER TAHOE LIGHTER DID NOT WORK EITHER. NIECE HAD STUCK A PENNY DOWN IT.

SIS SAID SHE NEEDED IT TO CHARGE HER PHONE

I FISHED THE PENNY OUT. REPLACED THE FUSE.

. WAH-LAH!

ONE REFRESHING SMOKE!

. THE OBD CONNECTOR WORKED TOO!

MAYBE YOURS AIN'T CONNECTED TO THE LIGHTER. BUT CHECK YOUR FUSES!
