My vehicle is having starting issues. When the key is turned, there is no response. The warning lights all light up on the cluster and I have no radio, front power, pl, or a/C. After it sits for a while, (random and undetermined amount of time) it will start right up no problems. But still have most of the warning lights illuminated and still no radio, power, or etc. I have replaced the ignition switch and had no problems for one day. Then it all started up again. I am lost as to where to go next. I have seen many websites with the exact same issues but no specific answer. Could you please give me some direction. We are a one vehicle family and I need to fix this ASAP.

Hello, this sounds like a BCM issue, poor connection inside the fuse box, or malfunctioning rely. Next time this happens go open up the engine bay fuse box and push down on all the fuses and relays if not give the fuse box a few good taps see if anything comes to life. Also you will see four screws in between all the fuses make sure those are all tight. You either have a poor connection or there is a class 2 serial data fault and the best bet is to have this scanned with a high end scanner and or GM TechII for codes in all modules. Intermittent issues can be easy or they can take forever, the best bet is to have the car scanned for codes. Seeing as how this is the main ride for the family. Hope this information helps. Lou
