Got spark! But no fuel at the fuel rail. I suspect a clogged fuel filter and/or bad fuel pump.

Good morning,

Can you hear the fuel pump run when you turn on the key?

The first thing I would do is verify power at the pump itself. It does sound like a bad pump but needs to be sure.

WARNING: The fuel system is under constant pressure, even when the engine is OFF. Always release fuel pressure before servicing any fuel system component.

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the fuel tank to service the fuel pump/sender unit.

REMOVAL
1. Remove the fuel filler cap to relieve any fuel tank pressure.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Drain the fuel tank until the gauge read less than 1/4 full using a portable gasoline storage/siphon tank, or appropriate substitute. Raise and support the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the fuel vent, supply, and return hoses from their connections on the fuel pump/sender unit. Disconnect the fuel pump/sender electrical connections from the main harness.
5. Using a hammer, and BRASS PUNCH, remove the fuel pump/sender lock ring by tapping it in a counterclockwise direction. Remove the fuel pump lock ring, and the pump/sender assembly.
6. Remove and discard the fuel pump "O" ring seal, and the fuel pump sock style inlet filter.
