I have an issue with the stereo not having any volume and today I also noticed my signal lights did not make a sound either. I can’t hear anyone on my Bluetooth either. I’m not sure if it’s a fuse or what but when I try turning the volume up it doesn’t show on the dash that I’m even turning the knob.

Good morning, LEARLES59@GMAIL. COM,

So, this is known issue by GM and affects many models.

There is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) on this issue.
Reference number(s) 17-NA-025 Issued: Jan 31st, 2017.

I will add a few screen shots for you of the TSB.

GM says it may be happening due to a software abnormality. This requires the service department of a local GM dealer to perform a reprogram of the unit with updated software. Should take about 30 minutes to an hour to complete.

The dealer is the only one who can update the software.

I would call the dealer and make an appointment; you will need your VIN so have it handy.

Then print out the information I sent you and physically hand it to them so there are no miscommunications as dealers tend to have these issues.

GM only pays dealers 0.6 hrs. To perform this update. So, you shouldn't be there to long.

If I can help in any other way, please do not hesitate to just reply back.

Thank you,
Brendon
