No power to lift gate lock

There is no power to lift gate lock.V I have checked all of the fuses and they are fine. Cannot open or close the gate without this feature working. Gate is not power. Replaced liftgate and now feature does not work.

So the lift gate power door lock actuator is inop?It worked before you changed the whole lift gate?Did the lift gate come with a actuator in it?This was a used lift gate I take it?

Brand new gate. This gate is not power open and close. It has an electric latch. No link rods. Could the bcm have lost communication starting and driving van without gate on. Their is no power to lock mechanism. All lights and wiper are working

So did it work before the lift gate was changed?I Wouldn't see how leaving it unplugged would make it not work. Since everything like that is ran thru a computer it wouldnt be a bad idea to habe it scanned for codes. It woildnt show up in a free auto parts scan or a diyer scan tool. Also I would write down the codes then clear them and see if they come right back that way you can tell if they were set when it was unplugged?Unfortunately sometimes these issue require a scan tool a professional one to diagnose as well so you can watch switch input and output on the scan tools.
