No headlights on high or low beam

I have no head lights, no high or low beam, when I turn the headlights on manually with the switch it makes a popping noise and nothing happens. The high beam indicator works on the dash and so does all the other lights, but I have no headlights at all.

I replaced the switch and it is still making the popping sound when I turn the headlights on. I have noticed the battery voltage will drop significantly on the dash after the switch makes the popping sound and yet no hghi or low beams are working.

Sounds like the circuit breaker on headlight switch is clicking off cutting power. You probably have a short, either in wiring or multi function switch on steering column. It could be in the wiring leading to headlights as well especially if something was recently added to your vehicle. Check to see if fuses and relay under hood see if they are good as well.
