The engine was running fine, then it backfired and shut off?

Engine running fine backfired and shut off.
Now spins but no fire.
Replaced distributor.
Still no fire.
Help please.

Does it run on starting fluid? Does it have spark? It could be the timing chain; can you please upload a video of the engine cranking over so I can hear it to determine if the engine is in good shape?
