Smell of Antifreeze

2004 Nissan Xterra. I am noticing a faint smell of antifreeze, mostly when it is a warm temperature outside. Have checked the engine and find no leaks or wetness anywhere. Any idea what it could be?

This is where you are probably smelling it from which may mean you radiator cap is weak and needs replacing.

If you can smell the antifreeze inside the vehicle it may be a leaking heater core. Turn on the heater with the temp set high and see if the smell gets worse.
