Trouble codes help

Hi I have a 1997 truck xe shortbed 2x4 5 speed, I just recently got a obdii checker and it came up with 3 codes 2 of which im pretty sure I know how to fix the other I need some help with, its code p1445 which is evap canister purge volume control valve.
does anyone know ehat I nee to do to fix that? Any help will be appeciated.

Hello jess.
First check all your vacuum lines (most of the "emission system" works with vacuum)

That valve its not working or its stuck probably its just the vacuum that its "cut"
That valve "controls" the flow of the purge for the canister
check your under hood schematic to identified.

I've had this problem on my 98 Frontier. I had to replace the valve because it just corroded away. I live on an island so the salt water does its damage. The only thing you need to be careful of is snapping the two bolts when trying to remove them because they were pretty crusty also.

Do to the moisture I also had to replace the the Fuel tank pump assembly because one of the nossles started rotting and then leaking under pressure.
