Hello,

I have Quest. When I got "Service engine soon", I checked with OBD II code reader. Im getting P0300 (Random/Multiple cylinder misfire detected) and P1148 (Closed loop control bank). What is the meaning of these codes? How much aproximately it might cost to repair if I take to mechanic. Thx in advance.

For a start get the oxygen sensors checked and for vacuum leaks-

Misfires can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel
