Code P0450 and P0446

My check engine light is on and I am getting a code P0450 - evaporation control sensor switch. Can you tell me where this is located and how I can repair it?

Hello,

It's above the right rear axle remove the connector and check for corrosion clean with electrical contact cleaner if okay replace the sensor. I would also check the rubber lines because if one is split or rotten it will cause the code as well.

Here are diagrams that show the locations and hose routing of the EVAP system

I replaced the sensor but that dint help and there was no corrosion so I putt he truck on a life and found three hoses that where rotten once I replaced them the code went away thanks! This site rocks water back
