1996 Nissan Truck no reverse and no 5th gear
Transmission problem
1996 Nissan Truck 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 110000 miles
I have a manual tranny where the reverse went out and then the 5th gear is not ingaging.

Hi there,
5th & reverse are on the same selector rod, does it feel like it is selecting but no drive or is it just sloppy and not selecting?

The 5th gear feels like there isn't anything there no engaging. The reverse will not engage, like the gear is blocked or closed.
