Whether on the freeway or at a light truck dies. On the freeway tach & speedo drop (elect failure). Turn h/l's on & everything starts working. Samething at a red lt. At a red lt. Truck stalls. Sometimes starts rt. Away sometimes not. Turn h/l's on & it will start.

Inspect and test the IACV-ACC and the TPS also the PCV and EGR valves, to include checking the exhaust for restriction

Would these items cause a complete loss of electrical power? Backpressure is good-EGR is new. PCV is functioning properly. What's making the truck die is a complete loss of electrical power-wipers, lights, radio, heater/ac. Could be going down the freeway or sitting at a red lt. Battery load tests good & alt. Is putting out 13.5 v. I was wondering about the regulator because at night, 1 time, I noticed the dash lts. Get brighter by themselves.

You could be right on the voltage regulator-full field the alternator meaning bypassing the regulator if it increases more than 13.5 volts then its not working right-replace it-
