Egine light came on and found out that the EGR valve was bad. Replace the valve and tryed to reset check engine light by disconnecting batterie and the light never tryed to reset and stayed on. What should I do. Or how do I reset the engine light.

The computer is right on the center of the dash below the radio.

Do this w/o a scan tool below: Or use a scan tool/code reader to clear it. Or disconnect the battery for 24hrs and retry the light.

Could also be its going thru a relearning process and can disappear after 40 starts.

Enter diagnostic Mode 2. After retrieving codes in Mode II, turn test mode selector fully clockwise. Wait at least 2 seconds. Turn test mode selector fully counterclockwise. This will erase DTCs from memory by switching PCM mode selector from diagnostic Mode 2, back to diagnostic Mode 1
