I have a 94 Nissan sentra. It has about 140,000 miles on it. I have recently installed a new battery and alternator. As I am driving down the road, the car will die. I can charge it up and it will run for about a day. What can I do to fix the problem. I have also checked all the fuses.

First find if something its draining your battery, like a light. Turn off the engine, close the doors and turn everything off then disconnect your battery positive cable and connect it right back but check if you see an "spark" coming out off the contact. If so, you have something taking the power out.
Also be sure that your alternator its working good. Sometimes fail even new.

I would check the alternator to see if its installed right. You should bring the car back to the mech who install it for you.

Car are not meant to be operate on battery power. If the battery is new than its probably something with the alternator.

I would bring it back to the mech, sounds like it wasn't install right.
