I have a 96 nissan sentra and when I turn it off after driving it for a while it wont turn over. It doesnt click so I dont know if its the starter. But if I let it sit for a couple of hours then it will turn over so im just curious if anyone knows what that is. And the lights and radio and battery all work but it wont start.

I have the same problem with mine. Have you found out how to fix it? I've found 3 Fuses in the dash (box fuses) under the stearing collem. Mine are extreamly coroded, it's close to $30 a pop to replace, but I was going to start with that. Mine does it when it's hot in the car, allmoste like somthing gets overheated, but once it cools off, we'r good to go. Is it the same with your's?

My truck does this occasionally. If I put it in neutral(I have an automatic), it will start. I have a 95. Maybe this will help. Sometimes I would wait hours before it would start again.

It's actually the wiring to the solenoid. Mine does it and I call my mechanic and we start it on the spot by reconnecting the wires, they are broken.
