When I'm ready to go on a green light at a stop light, the gas pedal gets stuck or very hard to push so I have to push it hard, and then it suddenly gets unstuck, and the car abruptly go at high engine revolution.

Check the accelerator cable, from the gas pedal to all the way to the throttle body. Somewhere, either the cable gets kinked or your throttle body is full of carbon making it hard for the cable to turn the butterfly. And when you mesh on the pedal, the butterfly gets loosened free and you end up with gas pedal on the floor and the engine revs to the max.
