I recently went on a long trip from my home town of Colorado Springs to see my brother in Arkansas before I went on the trip however I went and had the car looked at and had the oil changed. When I got back from Arkansas I noticed two days after I had arrived back that my car was emitting white smoke from the tale pipe I went home and checked all of the fluids and made sure that their was coolant for the radiator as well. That very same night a drove down my drive way then noticed a huge wall of white smoke coming from the tale pipe and it had a very strong burning smell to it not of rubber or anyting, but smelled as though my car had just over heated so I went back home and now I'm not real sure on what the problem is I will not however drive it Intell I know it is safe to do so. Thanks Alot!

there is a good chance that on that long drive that your car could have produced a blown head gasket. the easiest way to check this is crank the car and take the radiator cap off. if there is bubbles oin the resivor or the radiator then that is your problem. Glad that i could help. i know that this is the problem.

Thank you I figured it might be something like that but it's good to know what the problem is so thank you again for taking the time to answer my question.
