Recently the thermostat went out in my sentra. I replaced the part but the Service Engine Soon warning light stays on. Is there a way to turn off this light without having to go to the dealer to reset the computer? I tried disconnecting the battery terminals but that did not work.

Remove the NEGATIVE battery cable for 10 minutes should reset it, if not leave it off for an hour. take it to autozone they will scan it and reset it for free.
