I recently had the alternator of my car changed while driving down from plattsburgh to nyc I noticed the battery light and break light on. I stopped to check and found out the alternator belt was out. So my question is how difficult is it to put it one on. And if I put a brand new battery in and dint drive with the radio would it drive for 150 miles?

Loosen the alternator and the power steering slide it to the side and then put new belt make sure its track properly on the pulley. It would take you 300miles with or W/O the radio and more-more-miles. If its done properly.
