Engine Performance problem
1992 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my car won't start, when i turn the key all the lights come on and the electricity engages but i cannot get the damn engine to turn over, when i try to start it, it sounds as if there is no gas.

the battery is fine, im thinking its an issue with the fuel pump or an injector or something but i don't have time to waste right now and im about ready to tear all my hair out or start crying, i dont know anything about cars, i just need mine to start right now

Lets do below for a start to determine if its fuel or spark related issue and get back asap.

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 away from ground-have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

i do have spark, i know that...and i know that there's no flooding because my spark plugs do not smell like gas at all when i pull them out...so i know that the gas just isnt getting in there somehow

i think...

haha i'm so frustrated i feel delirious! Ok, how do i check the fuel pressure? i dont know what that is, or where to find it.

also, someone told me "put a lil gas or starter fluid in the air intake, if it starts the problem is your fuel pump or fuel filter."

is that true? where is my air intake?
