I have just purchased a 1991 nissan sentra from a friend who had purchased the car new. The only problem over the years is the transmission - every 9-10 thousand miles some small part goes bad and immediately you can only drive in low gear. Is this something that you have heard of in alot of other cars of this year and what would the permanent solution be?
