1989 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Where is the power steering reservoir located? I have looked in the car owners manuel but I still can not find it. Would it be possible for you to send me a picture of the engine with the area pinpointed? I would really appreciate it. I have arthiritis and the stiffening steering wheel is getting really hard to drive the car. Thanks

I have no picture, but if you post a pic of the engine compartment I can point it out.

The pump has a pulley that a drive belt goes around. There should be a line coming off of it and going to a reservior. Typically the top of the fluid level indicator will have a picture of a steering wheel.

Normally a low level reservior results in a whining before any stiff steering.

Stiff steering can be from ball joints, tire rods, rack, pump, or even strut mounts
