my 88 will start and idle fine but when you push the accelerator it wants to surge at 1200 rpm. it feels like a rev limiter. i checked all the vacume hoses, catolitic converter is new, new o2 sensor, new fuel filter, and new plugs and wires. it has this problem wether you are driving or pushing the gas in park. i have been told it could be a bad EGR valve... can you help me???when it surges it feels like it dies then engine revs back up, it does it rather quickly
